Proofreading and reviewing
I am increasingly asked to proofread or review other translators' work.
This may involve simply checking grammar, punctuation, typos, formatting errors etc. and making sure nothing has been missed out, or has crept in by mistake. Or it could be a more detailed review, comparing source and target texts and involving stylistic improvements, terminology checks and so on.
Testimonials
Carol Finch has worked as a translator for Xella TuF for a number of years. She has an excellent understanding of language and [delivers] superb translations covering complex topics in a range of technical fields. We can always rely on her accurate translations and appreciate her creativity in interpreting our ideas. Rapidly executed and substantively correct translations, both in terms of meaning and expression, are key to the commercial success of our company: Mrs Finch has played no small part in this.
